Snubblade in på en forum tråd tidigare idag där man diskuterade Kejsaren och hans beteende utifrån det man har läst i allt fluff, och framförallt i Horus Hersy böckerna. Så här började det hela:

He is the absolute worst father of all time. Whenever he met one of his children, if they didn't submit to him on sight, he bitch slapped them until they did. He showed *no* concern for the problems some of them endured: Lorgar is religious, would prefer to integrate people peacefully, and is generally a nice guy? Don't try to explain things logically or listen to any of his ideas, just bitch slap him until he gets to massacring. Magnus has enormous psychic power that makes him hugely vulnerable to Chaos corruption? Don't explain the dangers of the Warp to him, just bitch slap him and expect him to stop. Angron's life has been a continuous parade of misery? Don't actually try to get the poor guy some therapy, just bitch slap him and expect him to get over his massive psychological trauma."
Själv har jag aldrig uppfattat Imperiet, eller Kejsaren, som helt snälla och felfria. Och det har som alltid varit en del av charmen. Imperiet är i mina ögon "the lesser evil". Kjesaren är framförallt en erövrare. Ingenting annat. Lite som en futuristik Ghengis Khan med övernaturliga krafter och en abnorm armé av genetiska super soldater.
Var är eran bild? For the Emperor? Death to the false Emperor?
Death to the false Emperor! Det finns så många vackra planeter, med underbara religioner han bara stampar in och förstör. Jag gillar honom inte!
Hellre ett totalitärt styre än att bli uppäten av demoner, uppäten av rymdinsekter eller nedhuggen (och sedan uppäten) av orker.

Allt är så underbart jävla miserabelt i år 40000+. Allt är en stor gråzon, ont eller ännu ondare, inget gott. I slutändan lägger jag nog ändå mina mynt på the home team. Mest för att Terminator armors är läckra. (fast Eldar är nog vinnarna när allt kommer till kritan, jävla alver..)
Tror nog att det kommer vara orks eller tyranids i slutändan.
